Detect a leak before it becomes damage
Simple checks to make before calling a plumber, without opening a pressurised installation.

Isolate first
Close the shut-off valve for the affected area and check whether the meter still moves. Do not force a stuck valve.
Find the source
Inspect visible joints, under-sink areas and moisture marks. A clear photo and exact location speed up diagnosis.
When to call
A leak near an electrical panel, inside a wall or after the main meter needs a professional and a safe shut-off.
